Paper Structure

Compulsory Part

• Section A: Multiple choice
• Section B: Short questions
• Section C: Long questions
• Time: 2.5 - 3 hours
• Marks: 100% of grade

Extended Part (if applicable)

• Module 1/2/3 options
• More in-depth questions
• Higher difficulty
• Additional marks

Time Management

Timing Strategy

• Section A: 30-40 minutes
• Section B: 60-70 minutes
• Section C: 60-80 minutes
• Review: 10-15 minutes

1 mark ≈ 1-1.5 minutes

Question Approach

• Read all questions first
• Start with easier questions
• Mark difficult questions
• Return to difficult questions
• Don't spend too long on one question

Answering Techniques

Multiple Choice

• Read question carefully
• Eliminate wrong answers
• Watch for "NOT" or "EXCEPT"
• Check units
• Guess if unsure (no penalty)

Structured Questions

• Show all working
• Use correct units
• Answer what is asked
• Use proper terminology
• Write in full sentences
